Thanks,
Here you go. I tried to get a close up of the brackets I made but they keep coming out blurry. I would love to have them a little smaller but again $85 ($104 after shipping) is a lot better than $300+. The one thing I forgot to add is that the speaker cables were to sort to reach back to where the amp was mounted by just little a foot. They are RCA cables and I searched all over town for cables with female/male RCA cables with no luck. I finally just bought a connector and joined to cables.

Default Speakers

Just installed speakers on my heritage. Used rumble roads because amp is integrated into the speaker which is a spot light shell. I play my xm from the zumo550 through them and unlessdoing 75 I can hearthem. They mount to the handlebars, if I can figure out how to upload a pic I'll post some.

you should be able to hear it... NOT see it... here is my set up on the bike:

what it sounds like:

I have since eliminated the need for the external tweeter... instead i now made a 150 watt amp wiht 2 3/4 full range speakers... just screams! loose the sound without a windshield at around 75... with shield you are golden all the way to 100+...i have rode with several guys on here and they all laugh that they can hear my music behind me...

105RoadKing, did you ever get a picture of how you mounted the speakers? I'd love to see how you did it.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Sorry I didn't answer sooner I was out of town for work.

The speakers have two pre-drilled holes that I used the included screws to attach pipe hanger strap to. Then ran hose clamps between the the speakers and the clamps and around the handle bars placing a couple of small pieces of foam to protect the bar and dampen vibration. The while cost to makes the clamps was about $8 from Home Depot.

I'll try to get some pictures up this weekend.

FWIW, I've been using the IMC inside the helmet speakers for a couple of years and they work great. Ipod plugs into the helmet and then goes in the pocket. I've never had a problem with the law. About $35 from Whitehorse press.

Here are some photos of the brackets. Sorry about the quality, I really didn't want to take them off and my camera didn't want to focus on them. I was really starting to p*** me off because it would be clear and as soon as I would snap it..boom..out of focus. Anyway hope it helps, maybe after I get back from my Thanksgiving ride to Key West I'll take them off and get better shots.
