I'm hoping to change my solid wheels next month to chrome/billet rims but i'm going to stay with 16".Since i'm doing this i was planning to go ahead and get a wider rear tire.My understanding is that the widest i can go without any mods is a 150.Can someone verify this for me.I really would like the wider tire but dont want to do any modifications ($$)to do so.thanks

 

I have an 02 fatboy with a 150 on the rear. To my knowledge nothing was changed to make it fit. Go for it.

THIS SUBJECT STOCK FATBOY CHANGED TO 18" WHEELS WITH A 160 TIRE. IT IS VERY
DETAILED ARTICLE YOU SHOULD FIND IT USEFUL AS I DID.I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO DO
IT SOON AS I PICK OUT SOME WHEELS FOR MY FATBOY.

P.S. NO MAJOR MODS AT ALL JUST SOME SPACERS
