Default Just a little info

I just replaced my rear tire with a 200/50/17 on my 2008 Nighttrain. It is shorter than the 200/55/17 Dunflop that was on stock. It made just enough difference in the overall gearing that the bottom end is much crisper and 6th gear is now useable!! Just thought someone might like to know. Happy Holidays

Are you sure this isnt just Brand New Sneakers to a kid?
Remember when you thought your new PF Flyers made you run faster and jump higher? LOL

Nope, not just New Sneakers, It made 400 RPM diff in 6th at 65MPH. 4th and 5th are nice to cruise in now, right on the power band.

Great thread.

I was on the mct (tens magazine chevy truck world) website for over 3 years
and I honestly don't ever remember seeing informative, helpful post like this
and like all the other ones on here.

I put SHINKO RADIALS on this time. I was only getting about 8000 miles on the stock DUNFLOPS and after 2 sets of them at the Stealership prices I decited to try something different. They are much softer and stickyer then the Dunflops so wear might be interesting but the overall handling is much better. this is the 1st RADIALS I have ran on a bike and what a diff!!

The Shinko rear 200/50/17 was $129, and front was $59. Shipping to my door was $31. The Donflops at Stealership was $205 rear, $119 front. I had my Indy mount and balance for $85 compared to $130 at Stealership. Plus the Dunflops are not Radials. I will update on wear, I only have about 300 miles on them since mounting last saturday, but so far I am loving life.
