I really do like the looks of the stock seat, but after a while it gets uncomfortable for me. I plan on changing it out too.

I changed the stocker for the standard solo. It's been around since 1925. I also used a 2" spring to lower the seat height

It fits my *ss and I like it but, I may change it to get a different look. I'll do it when I get my stimulus check, yaa, right.

Wink

I also like the look of the stock seat, i do agree that the springs are to high but its an easy fix. I just got the 2" springs and then also slammed tha a** end 2" so i sit pretty low.

A friend got the brown La Rosa seat, looks great, i dont really like how it rides or the size in comparison to the tank and the rest of the bike. Its to small IMO. But we dont buy Harleys because we all like everything the same.

I have the Harley Brawler on mine, I love how much lower & in the bike I sit. Feels great, but after about 100 miles it is a bit tiring on my backside...I think my a$$ is too fat!

I put a Mustang 14" solo on mine. I like the stock seat as I find it very comfortable, but I never felt secure. The Mustang retains some old school attributes, but it is a bit bulky. I do like the way the Mustang lowers me about 3".

I tried a couple of diff seats from the parts cave. WWII surplus was comfy but didn't really like the brown with the black pillion. BTW, the only diff betweent he WWII seat and the regular 1925 solo is the rivets in the side to keep a soldiers gear from wearing out the seat.

Ended up using the 1947 accessory seat. In reality just a 1925 pan with a skirt and spears. Very comfy and I like the look.

I tried the 2" springs today, but I went back to the 3" because the seat would bottom out against the battery cover when hitting the smallest bump. This was discouraging because I had the battery cover painted gloss black to match the frame and do not want to mess it up. I am not a big guy, 180 lbs.

I like my Solo Standard seat. Did a 120 mile ride yesterday, no discomfort.
