Harley has the same thing. I got it at the 1k service, think it was $47. two yrs ago, not sure now price now..
Its a simple unplug and plug back in under seat..
Went bad about yr later, the dealer replaced it, no charge..don't think a after market store would do that.
I Have spent a lot at the parts dept, and they took care of it.

You might want to look into the run/turn signal and flashing brake light combo units. The Harley one only does the run/turn signals. I think Kuryakyn makes the other type but I'm not sure if they come with the red lenses.

I got the HD plug in module for both our bikes even though it's not DOT rated for the Deluxe presumably due to the narrow width between the turn signal lights. I don't see an issue with it.

I decided recently to add the flashing brake light capability to it. TK353 told me about the Rear Alert module which I got on ebay for $16 each. Wired it into the HD module wiring and it works great.

Hey Guys
I picked up the kit today at my dealer. About 15 minutes from bag to install, works great and just what I was looking for........I installed the red lenses, really couldnt decided between them and the amber ones already on it, damn the choices, lol.
At any rate, thanks for the info, thats what makes this forum great!!!

I almost forgot to say that the module I got died after about a year. It was causing my brake light and rear signals to malfunction. I popped it off and voila...problem gone.

I know in Washington state you need to use the red lenses (or clear with red bulbs) if you are converting the turn signals. Amber or red is legal for turns but red is the only legal color for stop.
