ok taking off the rear tire is no biggie.
I did take off the lower belt guard and leave it off also put the axel back in from the left side so next time you don't hav eto take exhaust off also with the belt guard gone you can let the tire straight down and don't have to mess with the belt adjustments. as for tight, go as tight as you can with a breaker bar line up the whole in the nut and good to go..

Okay....Im easily convinced. I was also thinking of duplicating that tank lift. Just put a NAPA horn on 132DB's - easy bolt on - direct replacement and stuck a hardly davidson sticker on it to give it something ( looks like a big black snail stuck to my frame)

Because Im rather new and I like to split hairs, If I am trying to remove / replace the 3/4" hex nut from the left rear of the motorcycle - do I have to slide out the whole axle?

No, you should be able to remove the nut on the left side and replace it with the mounting nut for the Roto-Plate and torque it to 100 ft-lbs. Then use an allen wrench to attach the outer part of the mount. Once that is in place attach the Roto-Plate to the mount. If you need more help feel free to send me a PM and I will send you my phone number.

Sorry about that! Don't know what I was thinking! Does yours mount on the axle inside the swing arm?

yeah...same same except the bracket is the only unknown. I plan on using that 1/2" bolt that screws in to mount that L bracket...I guess I will see what happens.

You know you can buy the Top Down Products Axle mount separate from the Rot-Plate. It is real easy to mount and looks like it belongs on there.
