Default Tall Boy seat on Deluxe

Anybody try the new Tall Boy seat on the 2005 Deluxe? Opinions of how it feels compared to stock seat?

I'm 6', 205 lbs. I have the Tallboy seat on my Deluxe.

It's not a bad seat at all. It sits me about 2" back and 2" up. I can stretch my legs out a lot more.

Here's a picture...

Thanks for your inout ont he Tall Boy seat. Special thanks for including a picture of it. I think that I will give it a try. Looks like you have V & H Big Shot longs on the bike as well. So do I. They look great!

You're welcome!

And thanks! I like the pipes. The only downside is everyone has them.

I was wondering the same thing, as I'm always trying to move around on the stock solo seat and can't seem to find a comfortable position. My lower back gets a little sore after a few hours, but I love the look of the factory solo. I've been considering a Corbin solo, but I don't know if that would be any more comfortable. Keep us posted if you get the tall boy seat, I'd like to hear what you think of it. Keep on Scootin'!

The Tallboy looks OK for two up although I wish they had kept the 2 piece design (and chrome rail) but does anyone have any suggestions for a solo seat for the Deluxe? I want a seat that will get me further back / higher up. I see that Corbin now make a seat specifically for the Deluxe - has anyone tried it?

Looked at the new Corbin seat on the Internret. Don't care for the style very much and the passenger pillion doesn't do much for me either with the integrated backrest. I already put on a detachable sissy bar and backrest pad which looks much cleaner.

A lot of us deluxe owners are haveing the stock seat reworked, adding padding and other things. any good leather shop can do it. The tall boy takes away the retro look.

JRAZ, I agree. The passenger pillion on the Corbin is butt-ugly. I think you can keep the stock pillion on the bike, but then it wouldn't match the solo. Now I'm intrigued by the idea of having the seat reworked...
