Heritage Chrome Front End?
I want to do chrome forks on my o7 flstc, I want to go with chrome front wheel spacers but HD parts book says you have to take off the small stock dome hub cap to use these? Does anyone know why? Are these spacers not the same size or shape as the stock ones? Would anyone like to post some pics of their heritage with a chromed out front end?
Thanks, DCS |
Not quite what you are aking. A good option for budget minded dyi'ers.

If it's the same Hub design as my 06 Deluxe then the HUB itself already has a Spacer built in. If you plan on keeping the hub then you wouldn't use the Spacer with the kit for that side. I did exactly that when I did my Chrome Front End. I only used the Brake side Spcacer from the kit.

hmmmm , on my 07 i chromed out the front , took off the hub . i couldnt see why a chrome spacer is different size if you leave hub on .. doesnt make sense to me.
