I'm considering getting rid of the football. I would like to stay with the black to match my horn cover, crash bar, axle covers etc. I think some black makes the chrome pop. Anyway, I found some black round ones on ebay that may be cool. I also included a pic of my current one. I powdercoated the stocker. Also I would like to keep the Willie G Skull cover for now if possible.

 

Post a pic of the black round ones on eghey so we can get an idea of what your looking at.

Definitely do the swap! The one from e-bay looks awesome. I just did mine as well and have received many compliments. I never realized how much better the round A/C cover looks over the football. Wish I had done it sooner.

I like the one you have better than the one you show from ebay. I'm not a fan of the stock football, but the way you have it done is original and blends nicely.

 

I can't imagine what that RSD Breather costs! Looks sweet though.

 

Toby, the round one on Ebay. Unless you want to pony up about $339 for an RSD. And that is a discounted price. The velocity stack does not even have a filter in it. It is just open. If we had limitless funds to spend I would suggest the RSD Venturi that is black and contrast cut. But once again, that is in a perfect world where we all have limitless funds.
