That's my main concern, is that I've heard almost nothing but negative feedback about their product and service. I called to order a tail light, and inquire, and possibly purchase a set of the pipe extensions and flappers. Kyle said he was busy and would call me back. Guess what... he never called me back. No biggie, plenty of other people out there that want my money and business! I do love the look. I just wish someone else made some.

I had these on my vrod. I got them from tractor supply company. They come in various sizes and are dirt cheap. I never even heard them, I don't know what noise it is that people are complaining about.

I think the key to design would be enough counterweight to the flapper so it will stay open anytime the engine is running. Then it wouldn't be bouncing up and down making a racket. But looks cool, especially in brass.

Ive seen it done on a bike at bike week in Daytona. It was actually pretty badass looking and not that big of a racket... honestly if you can take the sound of drag pipes then you should be fine. The should be balanced out so they open easily when the bike is running and dont cause too much backpressure and for the angle of the pipes. I think the guy had his pipes wrapped which added to the look

FYI Tractor Supply has flappers of verious sizes, but they are made of steel with bronze bushings. (<$10)

Check the Night Train thread and run a search for "Lundee", he fabbed some up for his bike.
