I'm looking for a set of heritage bags and am having a hard time finding a decent 86-99 set, has anyone used the 2000 and up on an earlier year bike? I don't have a problem modifying or fabbing a bracket but don't know if there is any other issues to be concerned about. There are more nice late model bags to be had and I like the shape better, hoping someone has tried this may even have a photo. Also the bike is a FXSTS but has a heritage rear fender.
