Just saw my bike. I miss it. The engine is completely tore down. They are rebuilding it. They don't do re-mans anymore. Should be done next week. I almost road outta there on a new road king...whew.
Should yell at them to crack the case, stroke it, and throw a 110"+ kit in there

What parts are the replacing?
Are they saying its a manufacturing defect in the flywheel?

Yeah. I wish they would. The whole motor and tranny were disassembled. Its a total rebuild. They said it's better that a new motor off an assembly line because they can ensure all the parts are working right. I'm just pissed that I'm not riding. They should set aside bikes to use when your bike's in the freakin shop for more that 2 weeks or so. This is bullshyt.
Anyone had any experience with a JAGG oil cooler? I'm all paranoid now about engine performance and longevity.
i saw the thread mentioned, and have seen other threads elsewhere.. people claim that they work very well. I'm considering getting on this winter. I'm glad this game up actually because I need to email UltraCool and verify their "reefer" fits softail models. Their old one did, but the new one is completely different. Point being, I like the look of the UltraCool (and it's $125 less) over the Jagg just because there isn't a big honkin radiator hanging from my downtube
