i tried just unbolting, but you cant lift it up enough if you do that, all the connections are right in the middle. allow yourself the space and take it off

 

Sounds like I'll probably go through the same process... I'll try with it just unbolted and scooted back and when that doesn't work I will just pull it. lol

Not sure if I want to relocate the signals at the same time. I really don't mind them on the bars, especially since I put the smoked lenses on them, so I think they will stay... at least for now.

I may try undermounting the mirrors, but I feel like that will just give me a clear view of my armpits and I'll end up putting them right back where they were.

 

I tried inverting my mirrors. Like you said arm pits is all i saw.

 

i'm used to looking up at the mirrors, thought about it too i felt like i'd be spending to much time trying to look into them then paying attention to the road. when passing i do more looking behind me.. i would move the signals if i had really tall bars, but since the bike is low, i'm thinking cars can see them....is there only 5 or 6 of us now keeping this thread going ? looked through the photo's section and don't see a lot of those guys posting

 

lol, most of the time it's been you and me bumping it with a few of the vets checking in from time to time.

 

I do at some point want to swap my signals for the dynamic ringz and the headlight for a JW speaker and I think having the signals on the tall bars would look pretty sweet at night with all white LED's in the front.

 

I put a set of the Dynamic ringz on my sportster. I am really impressed with them as they improve the front visibility.

 

I feel like if I'm going to LED lighting I need to do everything at once and that **** starts adding up!
