Question BCT Baffles: Will I need to rejet?

Just wondering if I'll need to rejet my carb when I swap out the baffles in my V&H Big Shot Staggered's to the "Original" Big City Thunder baffles (P/N 2001)?

No, assuming you rejetted when you did the big shots and air intake.

Yep... sure did! Cool!! I do have extra jets on hand, just in case.

You should be fine with the setup you have.

I didn't on mine either. I had the dealer put the V&H Big radius on when I took delivery, and added the Thunder Monsters about a year later without doing anything else. The dealer did the Stage 1 and DL and all that happy s**t. You gonna love em!! They are loud!!!

As a follow up...

I shot off an email to BCT and received this response...

"If the bike was properly jetted with the Vance & Hines baffles installed you should not have to rejet. You should be able to just install the Thunder Monster baffles and go.

Gail
Big City Thunder"

That said... I'm going to just install the baffles and let 'em rip. I'll keep an eye on the plugs but don't foresee and problems. I'm not sure if this holds true with all applications, so as a disclaimer... YMMV.

Can't wait to rock the hood!! These folks need a lil' wake up call!! LOL!!! Hope these are all they're cracked up to be. Ride eval to happen soon....
