Thanks for the comments on the paint and thanks for all the suggestions but the f'n thing still won't start. I donno what to do next but swear, and swear again, and again.

Pump seems to be pumping, engine turns but I won't start. I'm starting to think that stealer must have screwed something up when the re-installed the gas tank guts. Crap, I'm really bummed.

I tried finding something in the FSM, but it refers or trouble shooting to the electric diagnostic manual, perhaps worthwhile getting that from your dealer...

sorry dude!

You said it doesn't start. Does that mean it won't turn over, or does it turn over and not start? Check the starter relay.

Maybe jiggling the relay will help. Good idea.

It turns over fine, but doesn't start. I'm convinced it has something to do with the the mechanism in the tank.

j33ptj - I have the electric manual but that stuff is a little over my head if I'm being honest. I'll take a quick look anyway.

Have you tried to see if it's flowing gas while turning it over? If it's pumping gas then you know its not the tank..

Plug wires on right, plugs gapped correctly? Try to re-seat all the plug wires and check your plugs. I'd make sure it's actually flowing gas to the engine also. Without that, it's not gonna fire off..

as for your problem did you check for fuel flow.. ? you might want to make sure the quick connect on the fuel line is fully seated

good luck

That's a good suggestion but how would I go about doing that? If I disconnect the fuel line quick-connect I'm no further ahead since I still can't see if any gas is flowing through. Can I put something up the quick-connect under the tank to see if the fuel is pumping while the hose is disconnected.
