My ride!!! Before and After...

My '02 FXST was hands-down my favorite Harley. I think they are classic and I'm sure disappointed they stopped making them. And I'm in the minority, but I love the gray motor -- looks like the old ones. Add some chrome, polished aluminum and a black primary cover and you are in the old days...

Howdy folks...
I've had a chance to put a few miles on her and I REALLY like the way it turned out. Although I do have a couple issues you my be able to help with...
First, the 14" (15.5" actual height) Carlini Fly'in Apes may be a bit too tall. I love the way they look and they are quite comfortable. However, after 45 minutes or so, my hands start to get kind of "cold" and tingley. My guess is that it's due to my hands being higher than my shoulders. Is this common for high bars or is my circulation just not up to snuff anymore?
Second, the V&H pipes. I've pulled the stock baffles and replaced them with the BCT units. They sound AMAZING!! And my mid-range power seems to be a bit stronger. My concern here is that they seem "not quite right" in the styling department. I love the look of the pipes, but I'm not convinced they "go" with the build. I've been thinking that maybe a more "classic" staggered dual look, such as the V&H Straightshots may be a better choice. Or possibly a set of stock head pipes and some good sounding slip ons. What do you think?
I'm all about style with this build. Better performance is a bonus, but not a requirement. I want a stylish "pet rock" cruiser.
Thanks again for all the kind words!!
