2000 Fat Boy rear tire

I will be replacing both tires on my fat boy, but would like to install a fatty on the back. What is the biggest tire the rear fender will take?

roadtech you can but a up to a 200 on but you will need a wider wheel. i put a 200 on mine without any mods. after a 200 you will need to change out the swingarm

roadtech ur need to turn ur frender bolts inside out with acron bolts on the outside . this will keep the tires from rubbing

tsm1550 07-11-2010 08:53 AM

Any pics of your 200 tire without any mods? Or, are you sayin that a fender, struts, wheel... are not considered mods?

Roadtech, the Dr's right. 160 on a 2000 FB. A 160 tire does fit better on a rim wider then 3" - I believe that is what you have? Check the tires recommended rim sizes before proceeding.
