Default FXSTC and floorboards

I wanted to see about full size floorboards on a 08 Softail Custom at the dealership. The counter guy who was very willing to help me brought out a parts manual. It appears the mount on frame is slightly different at the front of the floorboard. Both are held on by 3 bolts that form a triangle. He asked the parts manager who has a lot of experience and he said no way so we went on the floor and looked at their last custom and a heritage. I didn't look at the rear mount after looking at the fronts but it sure looks like it would work.

Anybody here done this? I currently have the orange harley mini floorboards.

I'm very interested in this also. I know alot of folks have swapped to boards on here.

I'm looking to put some crossbones boards on my train, so if you get this worked out can you post some good pics? Thanks!

I am going with the kit from Custom Chrome, got it from Ebay shipped for 100$ (to Canada) and will let you know what the result is.. the good news is.. that it bolts straight on the clevis style mount I have. stay tuned..

Thanks mang! I'm really curious about that too. I saw that somewhere (JP catalog?) and was looking, but not sure about the shifter and brake position just bolting boards to the clevis.

Can't wait to see pics and feedback.

PS- Still love your bike. I'm still meaning to get some gators, but waiitng till I pull the sliders for powdercoat...

I just installed 2010 XBones floorboards on my 2006 Train. No issues! Make sure to get as many of the parts with the flooorboards as possible. The master cylinder is the same for the forwards and the boards. The shifter linkage is different. The levers (brake and shifter) are different between the two.

You're too funny man! That is PM's contrast cut brake lever and toe shifter lever. Also went with the PM contrast cut master cylinder. I got the parts for the foot clutch from Labriola again......

I have an 05 standard I'm working on. I put a set of floorboards off of a deluxe, no problems what so ever. Took about an hour to change them out, everything matched right up. Hope this helps ya.

Floorboards off a Fatboy should bolt right up also.
