It was too bad for the orange bike as the primary scraped in the canyons and lost the drain plug. Here is the mess it made at the top of the hill.

The orange and black bike is actually a fatboy, the same year as mine,2002. Yup, Ben followed the primary oil home mark. I just walked in the door and the video is done loading. The comparison is coming now.

They are some variety of Samson's that are no longer made. He had them powder coated, yes.

Yeah, that is the Heartland two five o kit on the orange and black fatboy. Kind of hard to believe, but that bike is the same year and model as mine.

Price of the Aus dollar V usd at present i am very tempted. Frieght is usually the killer tho, feel free to pm me or email a price for them, and the rotor and sprocket. 2001 FB here stock fenders etc. I like the skinnier front wheel i think . cheers Rob

Love this thread and these outstanding pictures of Softails. Is the video you mentioned available? I noticed you went through several air cleaner assemblies. Was any re-jetting necessary? How bout when you went from the dual to the single exhaust? Regarding your sound system, please describe it. Is a auxiliary amplifier required to drive those four speakers or do they have amps within the housing? How is the overall quality of sound. Distortion evident @ higher levels of volume? Please PM me on pricing of the complete system. Thanks |
