Default Its Here :D my 09 HD Rocker (with pics)

Today I got a hold of my first Harley. An 09 glossy black Rocker with 14000kms (approx 8700 miles) on the clock. Thanks to the forum members Im just about finished with the plans of what im gona modify on it. The previous owner already chromed out alot of the bike and seeing we only get a few months to ride over here due to the heat im dividing the mods up into to stages, one for this riding season and one for next years.

So stage 1 includes:
  1. Rear solo bag
  2. Fork bag
  3. Black powder coating all the grey parts including the wheels
  4. Arlen Ness drag style handle bar with Arlen Ness torpedo hand grips and tear drop mirrors
  5. Danny Grey "Weekday Solo" Custom seat with Gel Insert
  6. Rear Chopped fender, modified to accomidate an LED strip from Radientz and Billet Tear rear LEDS from Heartland USA
  7. Side mount for the number plate
Stage 2 (still in the thinking process):
  1. Shotgun Air suspension system (A Must)
  2. Heartland E-Z wide tire conversion kit (not sure abt this one)
Any more suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated and welcomed. And to those whove helped so far thanks alot for the input.

Here are some pics taken by my phone cam thus the blur:

Congrats on the new to you scoot - looks like you've got a good list of upgrades in the plan. I'd also say it's time to lose the funky/lighted timer cover. Ride safe!

Nice scoot. Pretty good plan too. I am doing a few winter mods on my rocker this winter and two of them are on your list. The shotgun shock and the heartland 280 kit. I will be making some detailed step by step posts in the next few months. It's snowing right now so next time you take a spin around the block think of me.

Congratulations! I would reccommend a good tune on the ECM and an oil cooler if your gonna ride in that heat! I have been to dubai about 4 times and all when it was extremely hot!
