I used some black body fasteners from auto parts store to fill holes then covered with bib.

Bib, no issues with removing the plastic, but there is a major run in the paint and HD won't do anything about it...I bought the bike used and noticed one month past the original warranty and they said the extended warranty did not cover the defect. X()&*&#^&! The bib covers most of it. At some point I will re-paint.

Bought mine from these guys. They didn't stock the one i wanted at the time (I see they do now) and made it custom for me. http://www.timberwolfleather.com/cat...ENDER-BIBS.htm

You're welcome. It's thick leather with a felt backing...took a few days to "shape" to the fender.

Blck, gonna try that scratch X stuff, especially when your pipes get hot, and you rub your shoes across them. Thanks for the info.

Could you guys help me with a issue I have on my DG Buttcrack?
My seat has a metal plate on the back to fix it to the mudguard but I cannot find where to screw it..there is no hole in the fender!!what a PITA!
