I went with the 39" Cholo's , the difference from the 36" to the 39" is too little not to just go all out.

All that thinking will rot your brain! If I were to get fishtails again it would be 39" without a thought.

I went with the 33's. Just because theres lots of hills here in TN. Ive got a HI-LO and when its slammed, the pipes are low. Thought about goin with the 36's, may change later on, but the 33's was long enough for me. I like all of them.

For me I think you have to be going for a specific look to go with 36". Bikes on here that have done it really pulled it off. Nikonf8 is a perfect example.
For me if I pull the trigger on a set i'll probably go with the 33's. I like the fact that the fishtail connection extends just beyond the rear fender.
Bottom line is you have to be happy with it and that's what matters most.

It's all good until you see a bike with longer pipes and you start to drool on it.

I have the rest of the package...apes, shotgun, mamoth spokes, chrome, chrome and more chrome...I just need to change my current fishtails for a set of Cholos. Crazy as it sounds, one thing I keep thinking about is street parking. Sometimes street parking is tight and with those long pipes it seems like you would be way out from curbs. Sometimes there isn't room to angle the bike and keep the nose from sticking out in the street. The other thing I am thinking about is dragging them. I ride 2-up a lot. Even with my current fishtails I occasionally drag. Guess I need to pump up the shotgun shock a little more...

My bike used to always stick out when I parked with the Cholos on it, but...I never had an issue. I park in all kinds of crazy congested places with tons of traffic so i don't think it will be an issue.
