awesome, informative thread....I have a stage 1 and really didn't know what the heck it was other than having more power....a friend told me I should do it and wouldn't regret it...he was right.

All I can say is "WOW"!...great explanation of "what" occurs "when", while following the "yellow brick road"! lol

Let me add to the compliments...fantastic write up. I really appreciate the time it took for you to do that.

Myself, I will be stopping at cams when I do it. But with 350 miles on the odometer I am going to ride it a month or two first.

This is excellent information. It should be placed as a "sticky" atop every forum page. Anyone considering making modifications to their bike (ahem...aren't we all?) would do well to have this info handy before shopping for cams (for instance) so they can ask the right questions to get to the right level of performance.
