I was at the harley store yesterday and seen that they have sundown bucket seat and a reduced reach seat for the blackline. They really need to bring some more options out !

 

They willl we are just going to have to be patient.... Hoping now that they are on the second year models of it THIS year people like Lepera and Mustang and C&C will be releasing seats that you can get for it.

 

There still isn't much of anything for replacement seats being offered yet (at least as far as I've been able to find) so I just hacked off the rear seat portion of mine. It took 30 seconds with a Dremel and then a few minutes cleaning up the cut. Then just had to make a small tab out of steel stock and drill 2 holes into it for a rear mount. I'll post some pics of it later today after I get back home. Looks good and fits fine and cost not a damn penny!

 

I have a danny gray on my blackline now, fits great. The Le Pera I had fit great too, they both cover the rear tank mounting bolt witch I wanted to hide anyway. I think it looks better when the seat hides that ugly bolt. so if your looking for a seat id think any softail seat of a similar year is gonna work.

how can you not love this seat??


Heres the Le Pera, cant find a better pic right now. Its a gel seat and its really comfortable.

Here are some pics I said I would post of the hack job I did on the cheap n easy to my seat. Soon I'm having the leftover seat pan re-done in leather by a friend who does custom leather tooling. I'll post pics of that when it gets finished as well.

-xjayx, is that a one-off custom built by Danny or did you send in a seat pan or is it just an existing seat he sells? Looks great!

 

The danny Gray seat is just a regular off the shelf seat for the heartland kit. Not a special seat for a blackline.

The Le Pera cost over $300 if I remember correct cause its a gel seat, might be for sale soon since I cant use it anymore. The Danny gray was over three grand but came with a free wide tire conversion haha.
