Velocity Stack AC 2010 FB LO?
#11
I have never been able to find a good filtered velocity stack. I agree they look killer but I am sure if you are willing to go and find a filter to fit in it it can be done quite easily. However, the appeal to the stack to me is the fact that there is no filter in it. So, it is a double edged sword. Personally, on my bike which gets ridden a lot I stick with an a/c that comes with a filter. If I had a show bike, maybe I'd do a stack but I'd still be scared to get all kinds of crap in the engine. Got pics?
The Wimmer stuff looks like you can have a filter or a stack but not both unless I an missing something. I have looked at the Velociraptor in the past and that seems to have a small K&N filter integrated into the stack.
People give Kury a bum rap but the stuff Ive had has been decent. You can also get a chrome backplate for a little more dress over the carb/sevo components.

I dont blame you for wanting to change...think about how small the dirt particles are to be able to float in the air when people in front of you hit the dirt shoulder on the road. Got to be pretty small if they are only slightly heavier than a gas.
Top ends cost too much money to rebuild, filters are cheap...
