I got 18/21 on my DNA fat spokes and i think it helps show off what you paid so much money for if you are going to go 16 save the money on the rear wheel and get a solid wheel. Brake disk and pulley will cover it anyway. Go big 18's fill the fender better

I went with the 21/18, waiting on tires to get here from Diamondback, so I can't speak for ride quality. I'm not sure how or why it would ruin ride quality, but we'll see. I wanted to see wheel tucking when the rear end is slammed and like Malingerer said, when dropping the coin, I figured I might as well get the 18. lol

It's all personal preference and whichever you decide on, either setup will look sic on your sled!

When the front wheel is at low rpms all it's left is the weight of the wheel/tire/rotor/fork assy, this will cause a more violent (heavy) drop when turning... An increased weight already because of the bigger rim/tire vs the OEM 16"...

currently i have the 21/16 set on my bike, just got them on last night however, my indy screwed up because i originally ordered a 21/18 set and he gave me the option to change it when the rims arrive or just keep the 21/16 set.

21''/18''..120/70/21, 160/18 in the rear...I haven't noticed a rougher ride in the rear, however with the 21 out front definetly a little unstable at very slow speeds( 3-5 mph) (Hard to Control) which I hope will change with the Apes on! I love the fact that I have alot of rim showing (Front and rear).. Plus makes it easier for cleaning and drying as these rims can be pretty tedious when it comes to cleaning in tight spaces!!

I like it most with both 16's but I seem to be the minority when it comes to that and wheels on a Deluxe. I think a Deluxe looks best with it's 16's still on it. I see many bikes with other sizes then 16's and thier bikes look sweet but it's just not for me or my scooter. I just love the look of the Deluxe with those big fat 16's and those big WWW's on it!!
