Thinking about getting 16" apes, will they work with windshield?

Default Thinking about getting 16" apes, will they work with windshield?

Just like it says plan on getting 16" apes on my deluxe, will I be able to put a detachable windshield on it?

My 12.5's do and they are tipped forward some...

They will work but if the bars are rolled forward you will have to trim the winshield. Easy fix. Here is a pic of mine with the windshield on. My bars are rolled forward quite a bit.

I've got 14's on mine pushed up as far as they'll go w/ the windshield tilted forward. They sit plenty forward for me.

So many options to choose from, Carinis and Wild ones are my favorites. I'm close to 6 foot, do you think 16" will be comfortable for me with a 1.5" or 1.75" riser, or should I go up to 18". Still can't decide between the Carinis flying apes or the Wild Ones Chubbys or the Burlys....help me decide hahaha
