Default Softail slim

Here are some pics of my slim. I don't like the bars so I am waiting for the cables so I can put 16" Big Buffalo 1&1/2"diamiter bars on it.

I went to the local Harley Demo event this past weekend and rode several bikes including the 1200C, Street Bob, Switchback, Softail Deluxe, and the Slim. By far my favorite bike was the Slim. Like the way it rode and handled. Felt very light and well balanced. Oh am 6' tall and it fit me great. I am looking to buy a new HD and it will be the Slim. Love the old school bobber look too!

yup I know how you feel, I'm 6'2" and the Slim fits like it was custom made for me.

I think on e of the reasons they did away with the fatter tires is that they haven't been selling too many of them. With the price quoted by my dealer at $335.00 installed for a 200mm tire, a lot of people are rtethinking their purchase of a fat tire bike. I know someone with a Bourget and it has a 300 on the back, and they want 700 for rubber.

Back in the days you could get 2 tires for less than 300, and get as much or more mileage out of them. I can still remember when a 140 was considered to be fat.

Really digging the slim, but I do agree, needs just a bit more beef on the rear, say a 180-200. But then you'd basicly have what I'm riding, a Fat Boy Lo. They look great tho, I'd ditch the plate mount, and the blinkers, install a axle mount vertical plate mount with tail light and a LED tail/blinker strip on the bottom fender lip, **** would be badass
