Sundowner Deep Bucket Seat for Fatboy?
Just wondering if anyone has one of these and how you like it? Does it change your riding position from stock? I like the stock riding position, at 6', I don't want less leg room. Is it more comfortable and better constructed (especially the seat pan) than stock?

thats the seat i'm running. it will change your position for sure but not a drastic change. you will feel like you're sitting in the bike vs on top of it. you'll sit down and back a little further, giving the feeling of sitting in the bike vs on top of it. your feet will touch the grd easier also since the seat is a few inches narrower then the stock seat. you definitely won't feel like your riding a fat chick.
as for the ride, it seems to be ok, not as plush as others i'm sure, with it being a deep bucket you end up with lower back support that you didn't realize would feel good. for the price ya can't beat it. my local dealer ordered one in for me and let me test ride it before i actually bought it.. it only took getting out of the parking lot to know i wanted it.

i'm 5'10" and don't feel cramped. i actually felt like i was reaching for the stock bars.. solved that with a mini ape install.. when cruising i feel like i'm almost in a reclined position, even though i'm not according to the shadows on the highway anyways. i can sit back with my feet flat on the boards or toes up on highway pegs and just cruise right along with no problems.. well cept for the lil bit of carpal tunnel i got going on..
