Dude,
That is the way I always saw a NightTrain. Nice job. How does the VHT 1500 degree header paint go on? I know you did not take parts off but did you remove some of the chrome?

It should hold up well. I used it on the exhaust on my Jeep and it lasted. I tried as best I could to scuff the chrome with some fine grit sandpaper. I then sprayed it with self etching primer (a few coats), then sprayed a few coats of the VHT header paint. After a few cycles of the pipes heating up it cures and you won't smell it anymore. This type of application is what this stuff is made for.
Looks good. Any pictures of it all taped off? I'm curious how you did the rims.
Here are a couple with it taped up and some primer already sprayed. It's kinda hard to see exactly where all the tape went because the primer is covering a lot of the tape.
That looks like a lot of effort. End product turned out great. I'm thinking of doing my spokes but was sure I'd have to remove the tire. Maybe not... I think I'll take the fender off though. Read that appliance epoxy works well on rims. Thanks for the pics.
You my friend have a set of ***** to spray paint your tain but I must admit It turned out awesome. It looks great...I like the diffrent tones of black it adds some contrats.
