Picked up some stock lower forks on Ebay for cheap, and the correct fittament HD black uppers.

Plan on blacking out my front end. I'll shop around here in the LA area to get the lower forks powdercoated in black, but wouldn't mind a few messages on what folks have been paying for this service generally. Again, I only need to powdercoat the lowers. I'm good with black HD uppers in a box already.

I think I paid about $75 for the sliders.
When I did mine, I took in 13 pieces* and paid $150 for the lot.

slider covers [2]
risers - [3] pcs.
headlight and aux. light visors [3]
shroud side trims [2]

 

Hmm. Not bad. Even if I have to pay 100 clams here in LA, I only paid 40 for the lower sliders themselves. Then I can just flip my stock sliders on Ebay and make up about 40 to 50 bucks and lose no riding time.
