Traded the '08 Deluxe for the '11 RKC May 31, 2011. Took it in Saturday to double check what I thought was a transmission leak and went into the showroom to wait. Long story short, saw a new Heritage Softail with about $3,300 worth of " go faster" stuff and chrome. I loved the Deluxe, loved the ride the RKC provided, but missed the " old school" look and ride of the Softail. Got more than I thought I would for the RKC and financially worked a great deal. The folks at Cartersville Harley Davidson (Cartersville, Georgia) are the best!

No pics yet as there's some stuff being installed. And I'll probably have some stuff to sell. Bottom line...glad to be back on a Softail!

Wow. I find myself thinking that perhaps I should have gotten a RKC instead of the Fatty. I'm sure a lot of it is that the weather here still stinks and I just miss riding in general. So tell me I'm wrong in my thinking....
