Swingarm bearing? Does it make the same noise going down?

Can only be a few things: swing arm bushings; shoulder bolts or the shock itself.

My thought is that it has to do with the swing arm. The shock itself seems fine, and the noise is coming from right under the fender by the ECU.

It does NOT make this sound while going down, and it slams smoother than butter.

Unhook the shock and move the swing arm up and down. I'm guessing a bushing also

Once you dump all the air out (both switches down) it can take it a bit to come up and it may not be smooth.

Raise the bike all the way up with the compressor (both switches up). Then lower the bike all the way down with the compressor (raise/lower switch down). Then use the raise/lower switch to raise the bike. This should raise the bike quickly and smoothly. Try this and see what happens.

Hey bro, I myself think it's a bushing. Even if you think it's not the shock, give JD a buzz. He will probably tell you right away what it could be. My 2 cents. Let us know if you find out what it was...Good luck with it...

I called him a couple hours ago, and I also emailed him this video. He said He'll get back to me, and hopefully he knows what it is.

Thanks for the help, guys!

Did it make any noise before the Shotgun was installed? I don't know why a bushing only made noise after you put the Shotgun on there. JD's the man and I am sure between him and a few knowledgeable guys on here will get you fixed up in no time flat. It's an awesome mod and as soon as you get the kinks worked out of it you are in store for a ton of fun. Keep us posted on the fix so all those who come after you has someone to help them out. My install and use since then has been slicker than snot, no problems at all, none, zero.
