Also did it come with the hardware to fill the hole that the OEM turn signal stalks took up?

That is one of the cleaner ideas I have come across.

I went to their website and they do not offer it for sale so they must only deal with distributors, however they mention they are willing to ship oversees....confusing.

Where did you buy yours. The more I look at it the more I like it.
For starters I live in Australia so some the answers will be of limited help to those outside of Aust.

The all inclusive cost fitted (their Option 5 deal) was A$1330 (~US$1000). The quality, IMO, is excellent. The LED's are very bright and exceed Aust standards according to the manufacturer. I can tell you they are too.

What gap? The LED panel fits very snuggly with the fender. In the pic you're only seeing the Park light on, there's the Turn LED's either side of the red lights in the pic. When the brake is applied the Park and Turn portion glow a very bright red making the lit portion much bigger. Below the LED strip is the license plate mount which forms part of the fender an goes right back under the fender and is secured to the struts. This is a very solid formed metal component.

For comparison purposes here's a pic of the standard rear fender as the Breakout is sold in Aust, and the Chop Z modified.

I didn't install the fender kit, a local Harley custom workshop (Westside Customs) fitted mine. I think it's hard wired.

The hardware to fill the OEM turn signals was part of the kit (Option 5 as they describe it).

By the way, I'm not affiliated with Chop Z or anyone else to do with it, just a happy customer.

Also, is that rear axle cover a standard HD powder coated?
Thanks

See above...

Nope, not std HD, don't think they do one. They're a Heartland USA product.

The chop z kit looks great. $1K for a rear light and plate kit though?

Awesome bikes and great information. Thank you to everyone of you.

2014 cvo breakout:
16" apes (eliminated front turn signals)
lowering kit (Burnout Cycles Lowering Kit - $99.99 @ J&P)
home made license plate relocation (completed at local shop in Roseville, Ca)

That's it for now. I'm broke until February 2015. Thanks all!

I'd like to hide all of the control cables. Does anyone know if there is a way to convert to internal controls but keep the HD switchgear? I know about internal throttles and I'm considering EXILE's kit. What about the front brake and clutch cables?

That is one sweet ride bro. Those Breakout CVO's are killer; I wish I had bought one. IMHO, that thing is "begging" you for a 3" tank lift, but thats just me.

x2 on this one. I've been looking at all sorts of options but can't seem to find a solution for zero cables being seen. I love my apes but the cables are killing me.
