What did you do to Your Softail Today?
Had to replace the horn on my Springer. It started working intermittently and then stopped altogether. 15 bucks on eBay and problem solved.
ETA: To remove the horn itself there are three nuts within 2.5" of each other, one is 3/8" and two are 10mm. I laughed and laughed, that's some fine engineering there!! 🤣

I made this one work. Amazon said it didn't fit my bike and it is not a direct copy but I made it work.
You might want to search more than I did to find a closer match.

Well...it was yesterday, but I had brake light staying on when front brake was used a few times. Switch was good so thought maybe a time for a line flush. Only two years since last one but master was full of crud and slight watery look to it.
took a bit to clean but all is good now. Flushed front and rear, can't believe how much better braking is! New grips on her as I had them in a box for quite a while.

FWIW, I have been using Prestone DOT-4 MAX and it seems to be holding up great....

Took a ride a few weeks ago and ran the 'ol girl pretty hard on the highway 70-135. Just didn't feel like she was all there, and thought the clutch may be giving up, even with the AIM pressure plate. Ordered up a G3 Carbonite and Trask billet basket from Fuel Moto. Got into the job and found some blued steel clutch plates, so yeah, it was slipping. Also found some damage to the stock compensator. I'm surprised at only 4200 miles, to see it this beat. Had FM shoot me out a Baker comp, which also requires a different rotor, so then I also had to clearance the inner primary to get the old one out and the new one in. Took longer than I wanted, but got it back together. Haven't run it hard yet, but it goes into gear much smoother due to the Baker compensator and seems to hold just fine. Haven't really turned it on yet...I'll give it a few hundred miles before I really test it.
