Picked up a Heritage rear fender ($50.!!).
Gonna hack off the rear section and weld it to my Slim's rear fender.
Won't have to change the struts, seat or ECM, and still keep the low ride.

What I DIDN'T do. Well, tried.
Changed out the risers for a 6" set.
Why didn't someone tell me there's not enuff extra wire tucked down inside to do that BEFORE I changed the risers.

You guys aren't much help! Lol

Oh, by the way, there isn't enough free wire tucked around the bars to add risers.

How-ever, I do believe there may be enough extra wire tucked down the back bone under the tank. Most bikes do have some free play. Correct me if I am wrong Slim Owners.

Changed rear tire and tube. Swapped out my clear drive lights for amber colored ones. Waxed all my grimey hand prints off after I was done.

Added a passenger pillion and pegs. I also threw a set of DK Custom's Thunder Torque Inserts in the exhaust and the sound is great!

My ride is a 2011 Tri- Glide , but today I set up my wife's new Daytona Blue pearl 2014 Slim with a set of V&H black Big Shot's, a VO2 air cleaner, a V&H FP3 and a set of Gloss Black Iso- grips with a throttle boss. It looks and sounds Bitchin. will get some pics up tomorrow
