Default Chopped seat mounts from a X Bones to a Slim

I can't remember if I posted photos of my X Bones Seat mount modifications, but I was asked in a PM for information, and I could not post the photos there.

I hope some of you may be interested.

The second photo shows the chopped/ lowered rear spring mount, the original is MUCH taller.

This photo compares a stock Xbones mount with my Chopped and welded front mount.

Thank you.
Now to try and make it work for me.
The base piece is the challenge if you own a Slim or Slim S.

Yep, keeping it all. Just haven't finished it. Been doing alot of the other little
projects that I've put off for a while. Still have a few more things to do, but
I'll get back on the fender/frame pan sometime soon.

Default Tank Badge

WKNDS, I really like your choice of tank badge. Looks AWESOME on the black tank. I was eyeing that same badge, I don't think it will look nearly as good on my red tank. What do you think?
The tank looks better with a longer badge, IMHO.
Keep up the great work!

Installed new stator, rotor, along with the voltage regulator I purchased previously. All electrical issues corrected. Took her for a short shakedown run before the weather hit.

Thanks! I've been out of town for the holidays.

The "tomato red" of the emblem might not work so well with another
"red based" color, but thats just my opinion. I think you should use
whatever you think looks best.

good luck,

T.

Yeah, multiple angles going on. The bike's not on a level surface. and its on
the jiffy stand. I didnt take the a very good picture, should've been from a
straight-on side shot.

Just changed ALL fluids; BelRay HP 15 in the forks, Mobil 1 VTwin in the engine w/ WIX filter, Redline Trans and Primary ... gonna check the tappet screen in a few minutes than give her the first cold bath she's had in months ..... may even do leather dressing since it looks like rain for a few days
