Definitely have spent time on barstools in all those joints. Guess maybe I'll see you in Geneva On The Lake at Thunder On The Strip since that's in your neck of the woods now?

I rode the crossbones for about 45 minutes today. With all the intense pain in my back following the realignment of my body due to surgery it is about the only way I have to temporarily push my pain aside and think of something else .

I had the local harley shop modify my rear brake pedal through a local welding shop (two inches shorter , one inch taller and powder coated black. ). Put an extended brake pedal on so I could reach it better with a fused right ankle. Rewired my bars internally. Put a detachable sissy bar on so I could bungee my walking cane to the bike. Got a gel solo seat so I could reach the controls and so the vibration would not hurt my spine , back or hip. Its a Saddlemen Lariat Solo seat. With Gel . Also got a set of under my jeans body armor that I wear over my new hip joint just in case . I have had all this done over the past three weeks. I use my motorcycle as part of my post surgery physical therapy. My therapist has me doing back exercises before , during and after my ride. Moving around on the bike puts my spine back in alignment and keeps my legs and balance good so I can stay out of a wheelchair.

Here is what the bike looks like with all the new modifications done so it will fit me safely and ride right. It goes without saying I Love this bike!!! I can only ride about 3o minutes at a time right now but am working in PT to increase my stamina safely.

For sure! Been a regular out there for years even when we lived in Medina County. Looking forward to the re-starting of the Louie Run in May. If it ever stops snowing here...

I added my crash bar speakers today from NOAM NUTV5. I now have 2 in the front and 4 in the bags, they sound amazing. I had a bit of a problem with installation for some reason I thought my crash bars were 1.5” Lindby’s apparently the speaker's clamps are a minimum of 1’5”. I got them to work nice and tight now.

Default Installed Titanium Draggers

Been wanting to do this for a while.

Having worn my floorboards down to almost a nub...

....I procured some Titanium Dragger/floorboard/footpeg feelers...

Got them installed on the Softy today...

...It's gonna be in the 20's tonite, but within a few days it will warm up enough for my old bones to get out and make some sparks!

I was able to drill a hole and install them without having to removing the rubber insert.

no offense... but aren't you just a little concerned about one of those catching on a pavement crack or the edge of a pothole or something and ripping out of your floorboard or possibly worse?

I changed out the grips on the wife’s new to her Deluxe. Still trying to save enough to get the stator repaired on my Heritage
