Pulled my rear tire to get a new one. Punctured it with a lag bolt.

Started work on an external breather kit to work with a TRASK Assault air cleaner. TRASK sell a kit, but want stupid money for it, plus shipping.
2 x Banjo fittings, a pair of extended breather bolts, a couple of custom spacers i machined, some braided hose and fittings, a catch can .... and I'm nearly done.
Just waiting for a 3 way barbed reducer T to arrive.
Only mocked up for now. Aluminium spacers and stainless bolts will all be polished before final fitting.
Cheaper and better than what TRASK offer.

Well the last few days have been a little busy Cuzin It got new tires Dunlop E3 240 40 18 out back Dunlop American 100 90 19 in the front. Sence my bike sat out side the back rim had a lot of imperfections in it so I decided to polish it to (a) get the imperfections out and look better. That’s a project I wish I hadn’t started. After much blood sweat and pain, ( fingers still hurt) It’s done. Dam my pictures are on my phone not Ipad . I’ll post in a few. Next was new plugs plug wires even indexed the plugs and didn’t need washers ( old drag racing trick) I don’t know if it will help but who knows. Also got new air filter and oil change. Dennis Kirk says it’s cleanable so I will go out today and get a cleaning kit. Well other than pictures that about covers it .

I used DK Customs breather bolts without any lines. I get a very fine mist of oil that takes seconds to wipe off.

Thanks, I did not know that and now that I do, it’ll gnaw at me until I realign them.
