You will need to add a light. I used two LED bolt lights, but most people use a frame light.

I too bought the tombstone housing from Soft Brake. And then got a light-up license plate holder.

Really?? What part of...
"I bought the cheapest lighted license plate frame I could find and ran the wiring into the brake light housing. I grounded the ground on one of the bolts inside the housing and ran the positive wire to the tail light bulb itself. I just wedged the exposed wire in between the bulb and the receptacle."
...was hard to understand?

Radiantz has a lighted led license plate that works perfectly with the softbrake kit.

This one is super low profile. Works well with the Softbrake plate bracket.

How did you guys splice the new plate mount led wires in. Did you cut the existing plate bulb wire and splice the run wire to that? I don't have a bolt inside the housing for the ground. The tail light wires are grounded with a rivet so I don't wanna screw with that.

I see someone jammed it in the bulb socket. Guess that's an option. I figured I'd cut it off and remove the existing bulb and use that wire and splice it in with a posi-tap. Not sure what to do with ground.
