how do those things work? Do they just replace the entire lower portion of the fork or is it a cover?

Dant...go look on eBay. There's a company on there thathas them for like $150, I think. And, if yougive them your's, they will reimburse you $50.

Dang, thats not a bad deal...gonna start looking now. If you come across them again shoot me the link. So previous question....is it the entire lower peice of the fork that comes off?

They are brand new lowers that have been powder coated.

its a whole new lower fork but i never disassembled a lower fork before.

Hey T_Rob,

Did you powder coat the stock forward controls? I love the brake control, did you have the stock brake control machined?

Harley just came out with the brake arm and shifter that are powdercoated black.
I have the shorts from V&H, but I bought the chrome and sent the shields out to get ceramiced myself and they came back excellent
