Thanks golfblues. Like your heritage with the duels. Sharp. Do the heat shields make much difference?

Unfortunately the 96 always runs very hot. I added the fans and the crotch cooler plus I did a tank lift to get more air to the engine and it has helped a lot. My oil tank temps used to run around 275 to 285 and now it's down to 230 to 235 tops. I also have Woods 555 cams and Nightprowler lifters which gives it a little extra boost. I'm very happy with it

damerleball, as best I remember, I bought those on ebay. They were the kind that actually lace up over the original grip. Cut them off short, taped the ends with electrical tape and forced them in the grip holes. Not real scientific
work on my part but made the look I wanted.
