Ok now i've finished talking to myself as i'm a mechanical nuff nuff i would like to know how hard is it to wrap my exhaust and how much tape do i need length wise to cover my V&H Big radius. Also any ideas on a new air cleaner cover for my bike would be greatly appreciated as well.

Cheers Wayne

google heat wrap exhaust and 100 tutorials will pop up aussie. Think the kids just want to see the live ones haha.
Man I'm sorry I missed y'all in Tn. but got the chance to be with my kids for the last 10 days while the x was on her back to single disbag cruise.

N_T your bike is one sic ride.Real nice choices that go so good together. Nothing like cubic inches to put a smile on your face is there.

I took it to my HD dealer and they changed the map a little bit to get rid of the decel pop I was getting. Then the guy who does the tuning took it for a ride, ripped around on it for a bit and said he def feels that low end lagging. He said he'd need to get it on the dyno to get rid of it. I have the standard baffle getting shipped out next week so I can see how that performs.

The quiet baffle is too damn quiet for me. All I can hear when riding is my values and cam ticking away.

I didn't have the lag with the short shots....why with the D&D? Just the change in back pressure?
Cam, it's time to start motor work and let the foo foo cosmetics be ha ha .That will require a separate credit card.

Depends on how many miles you want to get out of the rear tire . You would have spent your money better if you just did some mild head work honestly 51.TC'S need air to work efficiently. 113 is a nice number C.I. and live if you don't thrash it. A good low end cam and heads with 95inches and that pipe will keep you happy though unless you turn into a torque junkie

Ok i've bought some black wrap and read a number of articles on how to but a couple of things that i would like some views on . Firstly i assume you take the heat shields off but with big radius 2 into 2 that would mean you loose the the sharp end tip as its part of the heat shield so is that right? and also you need to spray it after its dry with some silicone spray or paint of some sort to seal the wrap ? any photos of big radius wrapped on the net i tried to Google it but nothing came up .
