Talking First try. . .

So, I bought my first Harley in 2016 - a used '08 Softail Custom. I decided I wanted a project bike, so I picked this one up because it needed attention. These are the before and after pix. Hard to tell from the photos, but the previous owner attached brass bullet shell chasing to every exposed nut and bolt on the engine - he used silicone which destroyed the finish on each one. Job one was to replace all of the nuts and bolts with new chrome ones. From there, I pretty much changed everything; paint, seat, wheels, tires, pipes, bars, hand controls, and all lights. It's been about 18 months in the works and still more to go. . .but so far I am a Happy Harley Guy!

Hi Guys,
Was looking to do something with an EVO softail base and came across the ‘94 FXSTC in what looks to be pretty much original condition and just 11k miles from new.
TBH when I viewed her I just thought she looks to good from the showroom floor and might just set about getting her fettled from here, originals from that era, over here at least are becoming rarer.
Cheers

Is yours a 94 also buddy? I’m trying to locate the colours on the one I have but there doesn’t seem to be a great deal of factory information available online for this period.
all the best
