Considering a move to SC. , questions ...
Hi to S. Carolina people . I'm considering a move to somewhere from the middle of the state to the coast. I prefer flatland to mountains. Good size town or city. Decent people rather than hood rats. I've heard the salt air from the ocean can *** up the bike. If so , how far away from the coast do i need to be ?
I do appreciate all comments and ideas ,
Thanks,

I was stationed in Charleston for 8 years back in the 80's, lived on Isle of Palms for 5 of them, and didn't have a car, just 3 motorcycles: 1982 Suzi GS-1100, 1984 Suzi GS-1150ESF, and a 1986 Suzi GSXR-1100. No garage, just a carport and none of those bikes suffered from being on the Island. Just make sure to clean your ride on a regular basis, and the occasional water spray down (we in the Navy called it a "*****'s bath") every week or so.
Good luck on the move

I don't know what your priorities are in life but if you love food that will kill you by 60 then Charleston is the place for you. You can eat brunch every Sunday at a different restaurant for a year and never eat the same thing twice. It was 85 degrees until Halloween this year which is great for riding.
