Cape Fear/Fayetteville NC Booth Children Poker Run
For anyone one in the Cape Fear/Fayetteville, North Carolina area that may not have anything planned for Saturday, June 20th, 2009;
BOOTH CHILDREN FUND RAISER
Saturday, June 20 Poker Run. Leaving from Mugshots, 512 McArthur Road, Fayetteville, NC. 4 stops. Registration starts at 10:00 am, with first bike leaving at 12:00 noon. Donation is $10 per bike.
A little background about this run. In the early morning of April 29th of this year, Master Sergeant Stephen Booth and his wife, Dawn, were traveling on highway 87 south in Fayetteville when a car shot out of a convenience store and into them. Both of them died within an hour of each other. They are survived by their two sons, Rhyan and Garrett, ages 6 & 8. The run is a fundraiser for their kids.
