Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to get an inspection on the east side of town? Trying to avoid getting on the highway, I have like 10 miles under my belt and am still a puss.

 

If you see a place that does inspections stop in and ask if they can do motorcycles. My only advise is to stay away from glamour shops for either car or bike. They'll find something to charge you a **** ton of money to adjust, they have to pay for the bright lights and free coffee somehow.

 

Thanks. Makes sense that many would do both. I was thinking most shops don't work on bikes so they don't need to inspect them as a way to hold you hostage for repairs.

Hey how'd everyone do from Flo? I know you folks downeastern way got smacked hard, hoping everyone came through relatively unscathed.

 

Went surprisingly well here in my part of Goldsboro, others in town had complete losses including a co-worker of mine. He lost his house from flashflooding. Parents did well in New Bern, they lived on the unscathed side of town luckily. My friends downeast are pretty bad off right now. Will be riding down as soon as I can to go help with clean up and anything else I may be able to do.
