PGR Event Near Dallas This Sunday 12/8
I'm heading out from Rowlett Sunday morning if anyone wants to hook up...
The PGR has been invited to participate in the 807th Medical Command’s Welcome Home Warrior Citizen Award ceremony honoring soldiers who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan during the last year. There are 16 recipients this year and all are from Texas. Awards and Command coins will be presented to the soldiers by Command officials and the Mayor of Seagoville. The ceremony will be held Sunday, June 8th beginning at 9:00am inside the Drill Hall. The PGR will stand a Flag line inside during the ceremony. The formalities should last 30 to 45 minutes and will be followed by refreshments and socializing with the award recipients, other soldiers, and officials. This Army Reserve unit is located in Seagoville at 701 Simonds Road. A map can be found here: http://*******.com/5cdz9v Ride Captain: Scott (KTM_Scott) Wilson Email: ktm_scott@yahoo.com Phone: 972-898-0885 We will stage at the post parking lot beginning at 0815 hours. Weather forecast calls for clear skies with temperatures in the upper 70’s. This will be a perfect riding day and an opportunity to participate in an uplifting, positive event. It’s heartwarming to see soldiers recognized for their sacrifice and commitment. It’s even more so to be a part of it Iron horses if you can. Cages are always welcome. All riders and persons are welcome to join us.
