Lonestar Rally 2012

Well we hung out until the rain ended around noon on the island Sunday and rode back home, got in around the start of that sad Sunday night football game...LOL.
Had a great time like every year, rode the Island from west over to Freeport and back east and over to the ferry to Crystal Beach and back.......you couldn't ask for better weather. So what did y'all think about have a small part of the LSR on the seawall? I'm still on the fence about that part, but it did make it easy to grab a free parking spot.

We got back yesterday about 4:00. We didn't have to worry about the rain. We took the Bluewater Highway going & coming back and missed Houston altogether. It was a great ride.
I kind of liked it being split up this year. At least you had a one way path down Seawall instead of them blocking it completely off like I remember in the past.
We had a great time. We camped at Gafftoppers. They were very hospitable and fed us Friday & Saturday night. We tried to contribute for the food, but they wouldn't have any of it.
