I have one of these in house from Buz that I am going to be testing soon.
It is a really well made, quality looking piece. I'm excited about giving it a go! |
That's sweet. Too bad only fits forward controls.

Hmmmmm.......would there be any danger of accidentally goin over a bump and tagging the peg with your heel unwantedly? Just looking at all the possibilities. It's a great looking piece btw and I'm very interested in one. I tried looking at the kick starter campaign but didn't see other shots or any video of it in action, in relation to how the foot is positioned.

Three hundred dollars to keep the tip of your "expensive boots" from getting scuffed? Really? That's the significance?

You can ride with your foot on the shifter or move to the left. There is plenty of foot peg, at least on the 48. been riding with mine for 8+ months, no problems with "bumping". Most of the pressure is still on the foot peg, when properly adjusted. You can email me for more fotos. xlentproducts1200@gmail.com |

John The Rock-It Shift was developed because of a broken heel. It made shifting uncomfortable and awkward for me. This shifter has made riding more pleasurable. It's a value judgement John. It's either worth it to you or it isn't. I realize it won't be for everybody, but with 267,000+ Sportsters shipped with factory forward controls (per/HD '04 thru '10), I think it will do OK. Finally got some time and mounted this up on the Project 48.
Wow! I like it. See review and pics at the thread below- https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...-and-pics.html |

Hey Mr. Buz, I am assuming your are the same Buz that Kevin refers to regarding this shifter. Don't forget us Sportys with mid-controls!!! I would definitely pick one up if you design/manufacture one for mids.
